In most countries around the world, millions of children particularly those in Africa, Asia and few other regions are neglected in one or many ways. From a range of street children to homeless kids, kid thugs to crime apprentices, orphans to victims of circumstance, hungry kids to sick children, denied privileges or access to education and more.
In other areas, girl child experiences cannot be overemphasized. Child marriages to girl mutilations, girl slaves to victims of abuse, denied access to civilization and deprived education among many other ill-experiences.
The good news is that these ill-treats can be stopped. It’s time to awake, save these lives and give them the desired hope they cry for. Most of these children will no-longer have to travel miles to hawk, fetch water or be forced into slavery if they’re fed, supported, educated or looked after.
Poverty in under-developed, developing and some developed areas is a plague that needs our collective efforts to eradicate as much as we can. Together we can build a better community where every child is given equal or similar opportunity as the other child.
